“Saundra basically put me back together after two separate injuries. She was able to speed up my recovery time and allow me to move around in day-to-day activities without debilitating pain. She has an uncanny blend of technical knowledge and practical know-how, unlike any physical therapist or chiropractor I've ever worked with. I would highly recommend her to even the closest of friend.”

“My name is Jimmy Ludwig, and I am an actor, screenwriter and an avid runner. I had knee surgery in January of '08. I rehabbed in New York for long enough to get me to Vegas, where I was set to play Lancelot in Monty Python's Spamalot at the Wynn Hotel. I was well enough to do the show, but by March I was desperate to start running again, and was making slow progress. By the time I met Dr. Namimatsu a month or so later, my running hadn't improved much.”
“Dr. Namimatsu worked with me on a new rehab program which featured her specialization with the Graston Technique and her extensive knowledge of working with athletes. My mileage began to increase, and in July (way ahead of schedule) I ran my first Half Marathon since before surgery. It is now October of '08, and using exercises and knowledge of sports taping (with KinesioTape) that I learned from Dr. Saundra, I just completed a 58 mile training week and have my eye on running my third NYC Marathon next month.
I had a lot of great care along the way starting with the day of my surgery; but Dr. Saundra definitely put me over the top. I cannot thank her enough.”

“As an athlete I can't avoid contact injuries in my chosen sports--baseball and football. Sooner or later I'll get hit by a fastball or train wrecked on the line of scrimmage by the opposition. Athletic injuries come with the on the field territories of playing hard, playing fast.
Fortunately, I have Dr. Namimatsu to help me heal my "got hit hard" wounds. Now that I'm 51 years old and still playing the games, I need her care even more than in my younger years. Keeping my joints in balance are critical to me still being able to compete with athletes half my age. Yes I said half my age. Thanks to the advanced techniques of chiropractic care and the Graston Technique, I am able to hit fastballs in baseball and block tackles in football.
As a breast cancer survivor, it's even more important for me to maintain a healthy body so that I don't provide a stressful environment for cancer to fuel itself from. Eating whole, unprocessed foods, regular exercise, taking naps (yes we older athletes take power naps) and enjoying life all contribute to a long healthy relationship with my body as I move forward to my golden years.
At Back in Balance Chiropractic, it's just one more helpful tool to keeping my body in tune so that I'm able to keep up with the men in baseball and the women in pro football, along with keeping up with my family as well. Best of all, the warm and friendly office atmosphere is like enjoying a glass of fine wine--as I age, the smiles from everybody there gets better with each visit...”

“For more than a year, I had trouble sleeping due to hip pain. After just one treatment with Dr. Saundra, I was amazed I could sleep on my side again and get a full night’s sleep without any pain. Dr. Saundra has treated my TMJ issues as well. Thanks to her, I don’t have any headaches and I can finally sleep restfully again.”

“Being a professional racecar driver, racing really takes a toll on my body, although I am still very young the amount of time I spend in an uncomfortable racecar is staggering. Compound that with the thousands of miles I drive and fly on a monthly basis my body needs constant maintenance to keep me on the podium. Dr. Namimatsu plays a critical role in my professional career and I want to say Thank You!”

“Playing Division I football took a toll on my body. I had a recurring hamstring pull that was frustrating. As soon as it would get better and I was back in the game, I’d reinjure it. Stretching and therapy only helped it to a point. Once I saw Dr. Namimatsu, she saw that my pelvis was rotated and with adjustments and Active Release Technique, I was back on the field full time. Off season, I had some pain in my shoulder that was limiting my ability to gain strength. When I mentioned it to her, she did ART on it and I couldn’t believe how much better it felt and how much range of motion I gained after one treatment. I feel like she is really able to understand injuries.”

“There is no way I could have dealt with all of the discomforts and awkwardness of pregnancy without the help of Dr. Cobos-Namimatsu! With everything stretching and pulling for nine months, she really helped me manage my pain and discomfort with chiropractic care.
From the very beginning until the very end, (literally my last appointment with her was days before I delivered!), she was kind, gentle and very patient with me. She took time to listen to my needs and ensured that my needs were met in the safest ways possible. When I could no longer lie on my back, she made adjustments and when I could hardly lie on my side she made adjustments!
On top of everything, when I was seven months pregnant, my husband tore his Achilles! After his surgery and during his physical therapy stages, Dr. Cobos-Namimatsu came to the rescue again! She worked on his legs to help him with pain management and strengthening. We are both truly grateful for the natural ability and skills that Dr. Cobos-Namimatsu delivers- she certainly has a gift and her patients are the ones who reap the benefits! ”
